Choose how to support the project

The Living Coral Biobank Project needs your support. We invite you to take part in one or all of the following ways to help us secure the living biodiversity of corals for tomorrow, today.

Sponsor a Coral Fragment

$50 / Month

Choose to sponsor one or more coral fragments that have been collected from the Great Barrier Reef. These fragments represent an individual species, and your support is needed for their ongoing care and maintenance. Your fragment number will be sent to you, and you will be updated on what species your coral is, where it was collected, the environmental conditions from the wild, and its growth and health information as it grows.

Fund an Expedition!

$4,000 for a one-day expedition

Getting out to the Great Barrier Reef can be expensive, but with your support, we can collect our corals one day at a time. During these single day expeditions, we can collect up to 35 species, and have them stored, fragmented and chipped ready to go into the Living Coral Biobank tanks by nightfall. All information regarding the expedition will be sent to you, and you will be updated on what species we collected, where they were collected, the environmental conditions from the wild, and the growth and health information of all fragments as the expedition produced.
